Given that the only one celebrity of note blowing out some candles on his cake today is a little known actor by the name of Macaulay Culkin who hasn't worked in many years, we're going to pad out this section with the useless information that it's national dog day in the US this afternoon. Normally we'd follow this up with a joke about Amy Winehouse but that'd be... ehem...pretty... tasteless. Ok, that was a bit rough, ho, ho. After a bumper day of action yesterday, we've got a relatively quiet afternoon of horse racing today. Luckily, we're expecting competitive racing at Great Leighs, Ripon and Sligo. Don't forget, we also pay out on disqualified winners and official result on all UK & Ireland races.
