WEDNESDAY'S SELECTIONS: CATTERICK: 2.20 Green Prospect, 2.50 Abit Irish, 3.20 Media Man, 3.50 Diktatorial, 4.20 Whistle Blowing, 4.50 Linlithgow Lad, 5.20 Rich Girl. FONTWELL: 2.30 Grandos, 3.00 Cleymor House, 3.30 Swordsman, 4.00 Golden Oak, 4.30 Wildbach, 5.00 Vodka Brook. LINGFIELD: 2.10 LORIKEET (NAP), 2.40 Prince Charlemagne, 3.10 Sion Hill, 3.40 Buddy Holly, 4.10 Talamahana, 4.40 Ten Down, 5.10 Hucking Hero. WOLVERHAMPTON: 6.50 Grimes Faith, 7.20 Dickie Le Davoir, 7.50 Jago, 8.20 Transcendent, 8.50 High Five Society, 9.20 Exit Smiling. DOUBLE: Lorikeet and Media Man. Gary Moore can reaffirm his outstanding run of form by landing the opener at Lingfield on Wednesday. The East Sussex trainer has enjoyed great success under both codes this term and looks to have another winner-elect in Lorikeet, who lines up in the Bet Champions League - Betdaq Apprentice Handicap. The Rainbow Quest gelding is back at a winning mark of 67 - he won off that rating 12 months ago over course and distance - and offered a glimpse of his well-being last month. Moore's stayer was turned over at odds of 10-11 but did not fare too badly considering the race was not run to suit. Lorikeet, who finished a two-and-a-half-length second over this two miles, remains on a mark of 67 and should get a far stronger pace with the frontrunning Dash Of Grey in the field. It will be a bitter disappointment if he does not clock up a fourth victory at Lingfield for his in-form connections. Transcendent sneaks into the Join The Easter Parade @ Pontin's Handicap at Wolverhampton off a feather-weight and should go well. The son of Trans Island will probably never justify his €42,000 price-tag but is slowly getting the hang of things. James Bethell's three-year-old has been at the business end on his three starts this season and has shaped as though Wednesday's extra distance will be just the ticket. Green Prospect is a familiar face in selling company these days and should be up to the job at Catterick. Once rated in the 120s, the Jim Best-trained eight-year-old consistently holds his own at this level and is in decent form. Having landed a small race over two and a half miles on his seasonal bow at Fakenham in November, Green Prospect since showed up satisfactorily at Leicester and Ludlow. Finishing third on both occasions, Best's gelding showed he retained plenty of zest for the jumping game - even though he is clearly not the force of old. His last two efforts also intimated that genuinely good ground in North Yorkshire could bridge the gap between place-money and victory. Best does a super job with potential lost causes and should have him ready for the Racing UK Selling Hurdle. Media Man's bout of seconditis can be alleviated with a much-needed win in the Book On-Line At catterickbridge.co.uk Maiden Chase. Ferdy Murphy's eight-year-old can be a keen individual but he has not done much wrong over fences - even though he is still winless. Yet to finish outside the first three in four starts within this sphere of racing, the heavy ground over course and distance in January arguably dashed his chances and he came home second. Clearly an animal whom requires far better racing conditions, expect him to go one place better in this two-mile heat. Swordsman can atone for a disappointing effort last time in the Betfair Million - Will It Be Won? Novices' Hurdle at Fontwell. The German raider was an impressive winner at Huntingdon last November but subsequently turned in no sort of show when well beaten in the Challow Hurdle. Something looked to be amiss that day but if Swordsman is back on his game on Wednesday, he could take some beating.
